Hi , I am Aanchal, the Author of this blog. I am an Indian by origin and currently
enjoying my life as an expat's wife, based in Cologne Germany. I have worked as
a HR Professional in past and since my move to Germany my purpose has been working
towards living a life of balance, tranquility and peace. In this Blog, I write
about everything that keeps me joyous from my travel stories, fashion, healthy
lifestyle, food, new cultures, languages, spiritual inclination, living life as an expat wife.
So ya, I absolutely love talking to people and have always enjoyed company of others. I feel the happiest of all when I am travelling and have absolutely no qualms about being in one place or the other as far as its new and conveniently or rather inconveniently distant. Since I got married, me and my husband Manish have been travelling together and I am gradually seeing the world which once seemed too far off but whose air I always longed to breath, whose culture I always longed to experience, whose streets I longed to walk on..... ok, guess I got a tad bit emotional there !!

My family includes my husband Manish, our little ummm actually not-so- little Dog, a Golden Retriever "Joy" , who shall be introduced to you in my future posts. In my daily life, I love going for walks, treks, clicking pictures, getting clicked, playing with Joy, putting together clean recipes, day-dreaming, writing and reading. I wish to share all my travel tales which I feel compelled to write about and will also take you through my 'personal reform' journey as I'd like to call it since it is about becoming a better version of myself : Physically and Spiritually.
I have been a bit un-conventional in my ways and so are the sources of my joys and pleasures. Thus the name 'The Nomadic Joys".
